"Dancing On Air" is the first song in the "My Little Pony" (special) which is also known as "Rescue from Midnight Castle" and "Firefly's Adventure." Firefly has come to the more mundane parts of Earth in search of someone who will help the ponies. She meets Megan, who doubts her own abilities, though Firefly has every confidence in her.

There is a bit of pertinent dialogue in the MP3; all is transcribed below:

Firefly:  Hop on! Uh, y-you do know how to ride, I hope?

Megan:  Of course I know how to ride!

Firefly:  Great!

Megan:  Hey where are we going?

Firefly:  To help my friends; they need you.

Megan:  Me? What can I do?

Firefly:  You're strong.

Megan:  No I'm not.

Firefly:  You can fight!

Megan:  No I can't!

Firefly:  And you can fly.

Megan:  I said I could ride, not fly!

Firefly:  Ohhh my friends are just gonna love you!

Megan:  No the woooooon't!

Firefly:  Ponyfeathers!

Firefly:  They'll be dancing on air when they meet you,
            Dancing on air with glee!

Megan:  I doubt they'll be celebrating when they see it's only me.

Firefly:  They'll do cartwheels in air when they greet you,
            Their hope will start to rise.

Megan:  From what they're anticipating,
            they're in for a big surprise.

Firefly:  They'll be floating lighter than a cloud.

Megan:  They'll be gloating - laughing right out loud.

Firefly:  The sight of you will send spirits flying.

Megan:  One or two may burst out crying.

Firefly:  Why can't you believe? You're gonna be great!

Megan:  But, Firefly, I. . .

Firefly:  Trust me! Megan, you're a dream come true,
            Bet my friends all think so too.
            You're the answer to our every prayer.

Megan:  Time will tell if I'll come through,
             But just imagine if I do. . .

Firefly:  They'll be dancing. . .

Megan:  Prancing. . .
