Be Forewarned! Both zip files are large to ensure high quality desktops using bitmaps which are the most stable Windows desktop image. The 800x600 zips are about 1.25 MB and the 1024X768 zips are about 2 MB.
If you are running a Mac or a non-windows OS, I can't help you with setup. Download the zip file and unzip it to some appropriate location. Hopefully you know your own system well enough to do it yourself. If you are running windows without Plus!, once again download the zip and unzip the files to some appropriate place. Then right-click on your desktop and select properties. From the menu that pops up you can set the desktop and all of the icons and color schemes individually. However, if you do have Plus!, follow these directions:
1. Dowload the zip file to somewhere you can find it.
2. Go into My Computer: then C: Program Files: Plus!: Themes: and make a folder in "Themes" named "Pony Themes."
3. Unzip the desktop of your choice (or all of them if you want) to this folder, don't make a folder within this folder but unzip the files to here directly.
4. Go to the Start menu, select Settings and go to the Control Panel. Select "Desktop Themes."
5. These themes do not come with sound, so unless you want your computer to be completely silent after installing this theme, are have a smattering of sounds that your and my computer have in common (and then have to go back and fix it) make sure to uncheck the sounds box (Circled in pic) and your previous sound design will stay.

6. In the drop box at the top lableled Theme select Other.
7. A selection screen will come up. Go into the "Pony Themes" Folder and select the Plus! theme (.theme file) for that theme. A snapshot of the theme will show up in the window (like the example at the top of the page).
8. Click OK and the theme will be applied to your desktop.
9. Finally, if you want "My Documents" to have a special icon, you will have to do this by hand. Plus! does not do it because it was designed for Windows 95 which did not have a "My Documents" folder. Do this by right clicking on the desktop, selecting properties and choosing the Effects tab. You can manually change the icons there. Also, if the theme you download comes with extra icons, this is where you can manually switch them around.
