I drew this picture sometime during my first year in Vet school, though I'm not sure when. This is the main character from my unwritten MLP Epic, Stormy. She's sitting comfy on a cloud chatting with her friend Holly (you are looking at Stormy from Holly's perspective). This image takes place at the very beginning of the story when Stormy has nothing deeper to think of that lazing the afternoon away on clouds talking with her friend.
I colored this one summer night in a fit of insomnia. It's cute and fun, but nothing particularly special. I like the way the clouds came out though. In general I shun backgrounds because they're alot of work, and frankly I stink at them (no doubt practice would help though...)
