This picture was not a class doodle. I did this picture in a specific style based on the poses of Michaelangelo's "Little Angels." I wanted a nice little header for Christmas, and the thought of me (yes, that's supposed to be me) and a pony posing the same as this very famous painting appealed to me. Applejack came out especially well because I used a model for her, Baby Ribbs actually, who had come with me to college to guard my scanner from demons. The picture of "me" on the other hand is just terrible. I didn't especially like it then and I definitely don't like it now. Since then I have taken a class in drawing which covered the human figure and portraiture and I now just cringe when I look at the proportional problems. Oh well ^_^. In other respects, this is very nice. I like the colors, and obviously love the job I did on Applejack since she is on the front page of this site today. I also love the font, it's so funky.
