Here you can find what pony art and fanfic I have decided to share with the general populace. I am the kind of person who has a thousand great ideas everyday, but is only inspired to actually produce by the truly great idea (or necessity ^_^). Often I am inspired to creative feats beyond my capability, and yet I still try and dream. Here are some of my attempts, some failures, some successes, be they literary or visual, to do what I dream.

Fanfic

Well, to be honest, this one fic is pretty much it. I have my MLP Epic in my head which has quite a good plot (personally) and keeps me entertained just thinking about it. Whether or not it will ever make it to paper is another question entirely. A great many of my drawings come from this story however.

  1. The Temporal Ponies - I wrote this years ago as a little story to go with some custom ponies I got an idea for. I have long since abandoned the idea for the ponies, but the story remains, so I might as well share it.
  2. Pre-history of the MLP Epic - I wrote this short piece a few years ago, and recently stumbled across it again in my notes. You might consider it something of a Prologue to my Epic. I might as well put it up, it might inspire me to write more...

Art

(Or Something Very Much Like It)

The pony art that is featured on this page falls into one of two categories, necessity or doodle. Basically, all my pony drawings stem from either my desire to put a specific image that I have imagined onto this webpage (in one of its various incarnations) or were doodles in my notebook. In the course of my college career my notes have been littered with countless drawings of ponies. Some of these are very good and many of them are just terrible, however the ones I really liked usually ended up getting scanned and colored.

I have included in this gallery all the pony images I still have, though many have been lost or purposefully deleted (or are in active use on this website: Applejack on the Customization Tutorial, some of the ponies in the Goodies Coloring Book). This gallery includes pictures from the beginning of when I first started drawing ponies and had very little experience. Each image comes with a little story and description. I hope you enjoy viewing and reading as much as I enjoyed drawing and writing. ~Mare Ann
