Creating New Symbols

Creating new symbols is very simple and basic in nature. All you do is paint one on, or glue one on even :) I have a low grade of artistic talent when it comes to painting, so I tend to stick to things that are easy for me to do. I like to use gems also, and these I just glue on with tacky glue :) Note though, do not use super glue on the gems, it will take the silvering right off and make it look awful! Some people also have used the stick on earring gems that you can find at places like Claire's Boutique. I haven't yet, I just like to stick to the craft store :) Most people however just like to paint on a symbol and that's that, easy simple. I like to use the same paint as I did for the body, for the same reasons. Another medium is nail polish. Some people use it for giving a pearlescent sheen to a symbol, or a whole body, or using sparkle nail polish to spiff something up :)
