Seastar

Seastar - an aquatic beauty. Seastar is a custom pony created from a Majesty who had some blue marks on her body and no symbol left. The hair is originally Majesty's and thus has not been replaced. The way the hair falls is slightly odd, but that is natural for Majesty. Every original Majesty (i.e. not mail-order reissue) has hair that refuses to fall the way normal pony hair does. This makes it look a bit odd, but it is not cut and I actually like the way it looks on this pony because it makes her hair look weighted down as if it is wet. Seastar's body is dyed blue using RIT dye, her hair also became a darker shade of blue in the dying process. Her symbol is made using silver, black and white acrylic paint and is a symbol of a starfish. She has this symbol also as her necklace and on her forehead.

I feel Seastar was one of my relatively uninspired attempts at customization. She was, however, one of my first attempts at dyeing ponies.
