Lil' Imp
This little baby is called Lil' Imp and is the younger cousin of my other creation Dark Angel. Lil' Imp was created from a poor abused little Baby Quackers who had bad hair cuts and marker in her nose that made her look like she had a nose bleed! Her body has been DYED red (not painted) and there is no trace of those previous marks. The dye job is high quality and Lil' Imp therefore looks like she has always been this color. Her eyes have been painted bronze and her black symbol has bronze tips to all the points. Only one caught the light of the scanner properly in each picture, but I assure you they are there. Also, as you can see, the symbols are nearly perfectly symmetrical, both in respect to each other and themselves. The tail is constructed using the same pieces that an original pony tail has (metal cuff and washer) and the mane has been sewn in, with darling curls resulting that will not fall or pull out.

Lil' Imp's wings are made of wire soldered together at the base. They are extremely durable and stable. The covering is made of black chiffon, which is a naturally shimmery material. The chiffon is carefully hand sewn to the wire frame and sealed to prevent fraying or unraveling. The edges of the wings are also lightly glittered. Also notice in the bottom picture the near perfect symmetry of these wings. Lil' Imp has a wingspan of 5 1/2 inches. Lastly, she also comes with a red ribbon and is signed beneath her right rear hoof.
In the side shot below, the white bar in her side is the hole that has been cut for the wing. When the wing is in the white is not visible.
And incidentally as a last little humorous tidbit, this is my Mother's most favorite custom that I have ever made ^_^
