First let me start off by saying that the symbols and eyes of this pony are solid bronze. The flame does not look NEARLY as cool as it does in the picture ;) But it does look good :) Dark Angel came from a tortured Tropical Breeze who had very bad marks and a gouge out of her leg. The gouge was mostly repaired but is still visible in the first scan (on her left rear leg, front and center). I did some further repair work after seeing how visible it was and the scan of that leg area is the way that it looks now. It can't be seen unless you are really looking for it. As said before, her eyes are bronze and so is the scroll on the side of her face and the flame on her forehead. The one on the forehead matches the one on her flank. Her body is painted a shimmery black.

Dark Angel's wings are made of wire soldered together at the base. They are extremely durable and stable. The covering is made of black chiffon, which is a naturally shimmery material. The chiffon is carefully hand sewn to the wire frame and sealed to prevent fraying or unraveling. The edges of the wings are also lightly glittered. Also notice in the bottom picture the near perfect symmetry of these wings. Dark Angel has a wingspan of 8 inches. Lastly, she also comes with a ribbon made of the same black chiffon as her wings.
This is one of the most beautiful and fantastic ponies that I have ever made. I grew very attached to her, but in the end sold her on eBay. She ended up going for 45 dollars, which is certainly nothing to sniff at, but part of me wishes I still had her.
