Each year Cornell's anime club has a contest for a design for the T-shirt. I decided to compete junior year and this was my entry. We were allowed to eye-copy pre-existing art but no tracing. After this year the rules were changed so that it had to be completely original artwork even if it wasn't original characters. All three of these ladies are eye-copied and are from shows we were showing at the time. Fay Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, Lina Inverse from Slayers Next and Caska from Berserk (fabulous show!). And no I didn't win, but I only voted for mine on principle. The one that won was just incredibly beautiful, incorporating the rose window from Utena behind which were the faces of various other characters from Bebop and FLCL.
