The fall of 2004 I decided that I specifically wanted to give fleece pants to one person for christmas. Then I realized that these would make a great gift for a number of people and expanded the concept out until I ended up making 6 pairs of fleece pants and one very small pair of fleece pants. Pictured on this page is Paul and MooMoo showing and modeling their pairs of pants. Paul wears red all the time because he's a trifle Cornell obsessed and has a penchant for cows, so the fleece choice was a perfect fit. Naturally, MooMoo received a pair in her size as well. While actual construction of the pants wasn't too demanding, trying to guess everybody's sizes was a bit of work. I rather muffed it on my friend Michele's pants (she's 5'2 and 95lbs soaking wet and her pants ended up being rather... voluminous. However, after the initial falter on her pants I managed to pull it together and I think everyone else's fit pretty well. That or else they were just too polite to tell me. |
